About Execusuites

ExecuSuites is one of our President and owner Jim Rowland’s many successful real estate investing ventures. Back in 2005, Jim purchased an old building in the downtown. Loft District for his growing employee benefits company. After taking an interest in renovating properties, he decided to invest about $1,000,000 for the renovation of the historic 3-story, 21,000-square foot Massey Business College Building sitting at 2024 3rd Ave North. Rev. Fran Godchaux provided assistance in untangling ownership issues with the previous owners, allowing Jim to have full ownership of the building. Formerly a home to the Alabama Department of Revenue, the building offers a rich history. This very richness can be seen on the building’s architectural design, and is what prompted Jim’s crew to strip off the government-issued sheetrock that covered the building’s original finishing and beauty. Once the building’s attractive brick walls and beamed ceilings were revealed, it perfectly sat alongside other historic structures on and across the street. Modern glass walls, shiplap, skylights, and giant windows have also been installed to bring in more natural light.
